Guests began the morning in Washington County, located in the Twin Cities Metro Conservation Program area, with a presentation by Kris Larson, followed by guest speaker, Craig Blacklock, who shared highlights from his recent award-winning book, St. Croix & Namekogon Rivers: The Enduring Gift.
Awards were presented to:
- Gloria Lindberg, John Peck Volunteer of the Year
- Jeanne Kingston, Landowner of the Year
- Washington County, Partner of the Year
Longtime Washington County community member and founding member of the Minnesota Land Trust, Steve DeLapp, was also honored during the ceremony.

Following the Treasured Places awards ceremony, Jeanne Kingston hosted a tour of her beautiful property that is protected forever through the Minnesota Land Trust.
Artist Megan Schmidt was onsite painting a plein air landscape and representatives from Landbridge Ecological were on hand to explain aspects of the restoration work taking place on the land.
