|Saturday, September 7, 2019
10 am to 12:30 pm
Marine Village Hall
121 Judd St., Marine on St. Croix, 55407
Free event; space is limited.
A celebration of the lands we love for volunteers, landowners, supporters, and friends—everyone who cares about permanent land conservation in Minnesota!
Join us at the historic Marine Village Hall with special guest Craig Blacklock, nature photographer, who will be talking about his St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers — The Enduring Gift book and photography project. This book commemorates the 50th anniversary of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Craig will have his books available for purchase and you will have an opportunity to get yours signed.
In addition, we will honor our chosen Volunteer, Landowner, and Partner of the year. And to complete the day, Jeanne Kingston will host a tour on her protected property featuring woodlands, a new pollinator garden, an established prairie, and a state-designated brook trout stream that flows into the St. Croix River.

2018 Highlights….A Treasured Places Tradition
Volunteers, landowners, and partners are key to conservation success, so much so, that every year at Treasured Places, we honor a select person of the year for each of these titles. Below are photos of our 2018 honorees. (View a list of previous winners.)
