The Minnesota Land Trust works to create intentional spaces for inclusive outdoor adventures for everyone.
Join us on June 2 from 2–6 pm for a gear exchange to donate or acquire new or gently used outdoor gear while building community with local nature enthusiasts!

Give Gear—Get Gear

To give gear, please bring your new or gently used outdoor gear to the Minnesota Land Trust Saint Paul office prior to June 2, or stop by the office parking lot during the event.
To get gear for your next outdoor adventure, just stop by this free event on June 2 from 2–6 pm at our Saint Paul office parking lot: 2356 University Ave W, Saint Paul, MN 55114.
Minnesota Land Trust staff will be on-site to help test gear and provide guidance for using your new items correctly. Look for the Try It Out area.
What to Donate, What Not to Donate
Please note that items should be free of stains, odors, and damage. Don’t forget to bring the user manual or instructions that accompany donated items if you have them. If you are unsure whether or not an item is acceptable to donate, please email us at mnland@mnland.org.

What Not to Donate
Minnesota Land Trust reserves the right to review and ask that an item be removed from the swap. The following items are not acceptable for donation.
- Bug repellant/sunscreen
- Bear spray
- Bikes or scooters
- Skis or snow boards
- Items with holes, rips, or tears
- Items with stains
- Items with odors
- Tools or repair items
- Hygiene products
- Food/consumables
- Items that do not fit into a typical vehicle
- Items that cannot easily be lifted by one person
- Guns, knives or anything that would be considered a weapon
- Motorized items
- Load-bearing rock-climbing equipment
- Helmets
- Items that have been recalled
- Hazardous waste, including used fuel canisters
