In 2023, we welcomed to the stage returning event emcee and local meteorologist Sven Sundgaard and guest speaker Ann Bancroft, preeminent polar explorer, conservationist and Minnesota Land Trust landowner. Ann and Sven both spoke about visiting the polar regions and the effects of climate change on them, as well as the importance of conservation and restoration in the face of climate change both in remote regions of the world as well as right here at home.
